Podbean supports audio and video podcast publishing from the Podbean dashboard, so you can upload media, add episode details, and publish or schedule an episode.
This guide explains how to create a new episode, upload or select a media file, add episode information, and publish, draft, or schedule the episode.
Before you start, make sure you have a Podbean account, access to your podcast dashboard, and an audio or video file ready to upload or select from your Media Manager.
Step 1: Create a New Episode
Step 2: Upload or Select a Media File
Step 3: Add Episode Details
Step 4: Publish, Save, or Schedule Your Episode
Step 1: Create a New Episode
Log in to your Podbean account and go to your podcast dashboard.
Click Episodes > Episodes List.
Click New Episode.

Step 2: Upload or Select a Media File
Click Choose a file to upload to upload a media file from your device.
You can also click Select from Account to choose a file that is already in your Media Manager.
Make sure your file uses a supported audio or video format before publishing.
For information about Podbean's supported file formats and single file size limits, please refer to this FAQ.

Step 3: Add Episode Details
Enter the episode title.
Add an episode image if you want to use custom artwork for this specific episode.
Write the episode show notes or description in the editor.
Note: Custom episode artwork appears on Podbean and in the Podbean app by default. If you want third-party directories to receive the custom episode artwork through your RSS feed, go to Settings > Feed > Advanced Feed Settings > Episode Artwork Tag, then select Use Media Content Tag.
Step 4: Publish, Save, or Schedule Your Episode
When the episode is ready, click Publish now at the bottom of the page.
After publishing, the episode will appear on Podbean and be pushed to any third-party directories where you have submitted your podcast.
If you are not ready to publish, click Save as a Draft.
If you want the episode to go live later, select Schedule episode and choose the release date and time.
