  • Ensure you have registered a domain through a domain registrar (such as GoDaddy, or any other domain registration platforms).
  • Please make sure the own domain you use is new and hasn't been used for other websites.


How to Connect Your Own Domain


Step 1: Set CNAME DNS record (In Your Domain Registrar)

  1. In your domain provider, set a CNAME DNS record to map your own domain to pbcdn2.podbean.com.
  2. After setting up, you can use an online CNAME check tool to validate the domain and ensure your own domain's CNAME DNS record is correctly mapped to pbcdn2.podbean.com.

Step 2: Fill in your own domain (In Podbean)

  1. In your Podbean dashboard, go to DistributionPodcast WebsiteWebsite URL, and expand the "Use a domain I own (optional)" dropdown.


  2. Enter your full own domain name (e.g., www.myowndomain.com) and click Save.

  • SSL Certificate: Podbean will generate a free SSL certificate for your own domain within a few minutes to keep your website secure.

If you ever need to remove your own domain:

  1. Go to DistributionPodcast WebsiteWebsite URL, and click the red Disconnect domain link under the domain field.


  2. Click Disconnect in the pop-up to confirm.
