Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Podbean account. When enabled, a secondary code will be required during login or when making sensitive account changes.
Note: This feature is available for accounts on Unlimited Audio plans and higher.

- Access Settings: Log in to your Podbean account and click Manage account in the top-right corner to access Account info. Click on the Two-factor authentication row to open the setup window.

- Verify Your Identity:
- Email & Password Sign-in Users: Enter your current account password.

- Google / Apple Sign-in Users: Re-authenticate through your linked Google or Apple account.

- Email & Password Sign-in Users: Enter your current account password.
- Choose a Method: In the pop-up window, select one of the following:

- Option A: Authentication app – Use an app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) to scan the provided QR code, then enter the code shown in the app.


- Option B: Email authentication – Once selected, a verification code will be automatically sent to your login email address. Simply enter the received code into the field.

- Complete Setup: Click Confirm to finish the activation.
How to Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication
- Navigate to the Manage account in the top-right corner to access Account info. and click on the Two-factor authentication row.

- In the pop-up window, click the Turn off button.

- Confirm: A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deactivation. Once confirmed, Two-factor authentication will be turned off for your account.

Note: After Two-factor authentication is turned on, you must input the authentication code generated through your chosen method when changing your password on the Manage account page.
