For added security, you can turn on Two Factor Verification for logging in to your account.
- Log in to your Podbean account. Go to the “My Account” page. Scroll down and turn on “2-Step Verification”.
- On the following page, enter your account password in the Current Password field and click on “Next”.
- There are two options for you to set up Two Factor Verification for your account: Authentication app or Email Authentication.
- Option 1: You can choose to verify by Authentication app.
*Popular Authentication Apps include Google Authenticator and Authy, both of which are available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store.- Scan the QR code with your Authentication App.
- Enter the code shown on your Authentication App in the Verify code here field and click on Submit.
- You have successfully set up Two Factor Verification. Every time you log in from there on, you will need to complete the two steps: 1. enter your password, 2. get a code on the Authentication App and enter it.
- Option 2: You can choose to verify by Email Authentication.
- Click on the Send verification code button, and a verification code will be sent to your current email address.
- Enter the code received in your email in the Verify code here field and click on Submit.
- You have successfully set up Two Factor Verification. Every time you log in from there on, you will need to complete the two steps: 1. enter your password, 2. get a code in your email and enter it.
- Option 1: You can choose to verify by Authentication app.
You can turn off Two Factor Verification on the “My Account” page.
Note: After the Two-Factor Verification is enabled, you must input the verification code generated through your chosen verification method when making changes to the login email and password on the My Account page.
