1. What should I do if I encounter errors during SSO login?

If you encounter errors during SSO login, here are steps to troubleshoot:

A. Check redirection to your SSO login page: Ensure that you are redirected to your SSO login page. If not, there might be misconfigurations in your SSO settings. Please check if your SSO setup is correct. Please refer to Single Sign-on (SSO) for Business Accounts

B. Verify SSO certification: Check if you've recently updated your SSO certification or if the certification has expired. If any updates or renewals have occurred, make sure to update the IdP metadata file in your Podbean SSO settings page accordingly. Please refer to How to Update SSO Login Configuration

If you've followed steps A and B and are still experiencing errors, please proceed as follows:

a. Provide a screenshot of the error: Take a screenshot of the error message you're encountering. This will help in identifying the specific issue you're facing.

b. Contact Podbean support: Reach out to Podbean support for further assistance. Provide them with the screenshot of the error and any relevant details about your SSO setup. Podbean support will be able to investigate the issue further and provide guidance on resolving the SSO problem.

2. If I change to a different SSO provider, will it affect my existing SSO login users?

In Podbean, we use NameID to identify users. Please check if you're currently using email as the NameID. Then, as long as your new SSO provider can provide the same email as the NameID, your existing users will be able to log into their same accounts correctly.
