Podbean AI Credits Overview


Podbean has introduced a unified AI Credits system that allows you to access and pay for all Podbean AI services. This credit-based system provides greater flexibility, transparency, and control over how you use AI in your podcast creation workflow.


AI Credits are shared across supported Podbean AI features and are automatically deducted when you use an AI service.



What Can I Use AI Credits For?


AI Credits can be used across the following Podbean AI services:

  • AI Audio Optimization
  • AI Writing Assistant
  • AI Podcast Creator (Blog to Podcast)
  • Any future Podbean AI services

Note: For free accounts, AI credits are currently available only for AI Podcast Creator.



How Are My Previous Podbean AI Hours Converted?


If you previously purchased Podbean AI hours, they are automatically converted into AI Credits. No action is required from you, and the full value of your previous purchase is retained.

Conversion rate:

  • 1 hour = 900 AI credits



How Are My Previous Text-to-Speech Credits Converted?


If you previously purchased Text-to-Speech credits, they are also automatically converted into AI Credits. No action is required from you, and the full value of your previous purchase is retained.

Conversion rate:

  • 10,000 old Text-to-Speech credits = 100 AI credits



What’s Changed in the Previous Podbean AI?


The previous Podbean AI has been updated and is now offered as two separate AI features, allowing you to choose how AI supports your podcast workflow:

  • AI Audio Optimization – focuses on improving audio quality
  • AI Writing Assistant – focuses on episode content creation


Both features remain on the Episode Publishing page with no changes to the publishing flow. You can enable both features or just one, depending on your needs.


Note: In the Podbean app, these two AI features still work together as Podbean AI and are not separated.

How AI Writing Assistant Works


AI Writing Assistant helps with episode content creation, including:

  • Automated episode titles and descriptions
  • Precisely generated chapter markers
  • AI-enhanced transcripts

Cost

AI writing for 1 hour of audio costs 300 AI credits.
