AI Voices in Podbean AI Podcast Creator are advanced text-to-speech voices designed specifically for podcast creation. With a large and diverse voice library, AI Voices allow you to produce natural-sounding, high-quality audio without recording equipment or voice talent.


Exploring and Choosing Voices


To explore the Voice Gallery:

  1. On the AI generate page, find the Voice menu on the right side
  2. Click "Explore more" to open the Voice Gallery
  3. In the Voice Gallery, filter voices by:
    • Language
    • Gender
    • Tailored scenario (specific use cases)


Selecting and Saving Voices


When browsing the Voice Gallery, you have two options:

  • Apply the voice: Click this button to immediately use the selected voice in your project
  • Add to shortlist: Save voices to your shortlist for quick access later. Your shortlisted voices will appear in the audio generate page for easy selection


Customizing Voice Settings


You can customize each voice's settings:

  1. On the audio generate page, locate the voice list
  2. Select a paragraph - the corresponding voice will be highlighted with a gray background on the right side
  3. Click the settingsicon to customize:
    • Speaking speed: Adjust how fast or slow the voice speaks
    • Speaking style: Choose different delivery styles (if available for that voice)
  4. Choose where to apply your changes:
    • Apply to the selected paragraph only
    • Apply to all paragraphs using the same voice



Applying Voices to Content


There are two ways to apply a voice:

  • Selected paragraphs: Select the paragraphs and click the "Apply" button next to the voice. 
  • All paragraphs currently using the same voice: Hold Shift + Click "Apply" to apply the voice to all paragraphs currently using the same voice.
