Due to a business adjustment, Podbean will discontinue the Live Streaming feature. This change will not affect podcast hosting or other core features on the platform.
1. When will Podbean Live Streaming be discontinued?
Starting May 18, 2026, users will no longer be able to create new livestreams. The Podbean Livestream service will be fully discontinued on June 18, 2026.
All live show recordings are saved in the Media Manager and will not be affected. You can find them in Podcast Dashboard → Media Manager, where you can download your live show recordings at any time.
2. What happens to my live streaming earnings?
All eligible live streaming earnings will still be paid out.
The final payout for live streaming income will be processed on June 10, 2026.
3. Will this affect my podcast hosting or other Podbean features?
No. This change only affects the Live Streaming feature.
All other Podbean services will continue to function normally, including podcast hosting, publishing, Group Recording, and Podbean AI tools. Podbean remains committed to continuously improving our services, and Podbean AI can help you optimize and create your content more effectively.
