Importing your blog to Podbean


To import your blog post, please follow the steps below:

  1. Sign up for an account and navigate to Settings–>Import to Podbean.

    Already have an account? Create a new channel for your blog.

  2. On the "Switch to Podbean" page, choose "Blog Post" as your content source.

  3. Step 1: Enter your blog post website feed URL and click the "Next" button.

    Note:You can reach out to your blog host to get the blog feed URL.

    Step 2: Proceed to set up the import options and submit.

    Podcast Voice: Pre-listen and choose a voice for your podcast. You can change it later when generating audio. You can search for a voice by language or country. Enter multiple languages for multilingual voices.
    Note: You can choose at most 5 different languages/countries.

    Podcast Script:
    a. Use AI to Re-script: Optimize your podcast script with AI based on the blog post content. You can review and edit it before publishing.

    b. Use Original Blog Posts: Use the blog post content directly for the audio podcast. You can edit before publishing.

    After setting up the import options, click on the "Submit" button to import your blog.

    Step 3: The import process may take some time. You can check back later to view the importing status. You’ll receive an email notification once the import is complete.

    Note: We will retrieve your latest 3 blog posts and sync your future blog posts from your website.





Generating audio for your blog post and publish

  1. Once import is complete, the episodes are initially saved as "Pending". You can go to Episode-->Episode List to click on the “Pending” episode title to generate an audio for the episode.

  2. You can review the script in the Script box and edit as needed.

    Note: The Script box has a maximum limit of 50,000 characters.

  3. Next, click on the "Generate" button to generate audio for the episode. It will take 1-2 minutes to generate the audio. You can preview the audio once it's finished.

    Note: Generating the audio will cost credits. 1 credit allows for up to 5,000 characters.

  4. You can also adjust the script and voice settings, then click the "Generate" button to create new audio.
  5. Review and select your favorite audio, and click on the "Go to publish" button to publish the episode. A description and transcript will be generated for the episode.
